Letter Link: what to know before playing

Choose a round of Letter Link and settle into its rules. Find every target word from the six-letter bank. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Read the objective before making your first input. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Make words from two letter sets: PLANET and STREAM. Each set uses a selected list of accepted answers.

Something to practise

After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again. Refer to the controls when needed.

What the game asks you to do

Find every target word from the six-letter bank. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Keep the controls in easy reach.

Start here and follow along

  1. Select letters in order, each tile once per word.
  2. Submit the word.
  3. Clear letters to retry.
  4. Find all displayed word lengths.

Making selections and moves

Tap letters and Submit word. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Use the visible help when you are unsure of the next input.

Try this example

PLANET makes PLANT, PLANE and PETAL. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Verify the rule before continuing.

Watch out for this

Not every dictionary word is a target in this curated list. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board.
